More Ways to Give

Six Simple Ways to Leave a Legacy to the Pawleys Island Festival of Music & Art

Wills

An excellent way to provide not only for your loved ones, but also to support the Pawleys Island Festival of Music & Art with a gift of a specific dollar amount.

Life Insurance

One of the simplest ways to make a significant gift in the future – is by naming Pawleys Island Festival of Music & Art as a beneficiary to receive all or a portion of the proceeds of an existing or new policy.

Retirement Plan

Offers a variety of tax-advantaged ways to use your IRA/401K or other tax-qualified accounts to gift to the Pawleys Island Festival of Music & Art

Land / Real Estate

Do you own a property you no longer want? Or a piece of land that would make a great permanent home for the Pawleys Island Festival of Music & Art? Make a charitable gift of it to the Festival and you could avoid capital gains and provide tax-favorable income for yourself.

Stock

Appreciated stock that is publicly traded or closely held represents the most common type of noncash gift. Nonprofit organizations prefer gifts of publicly traded stock because it is highly liquid and it has a readily ascertainable fair market value.

Donor Advised Funds

A charitable giving vehicle administered by a public charity created to manage charitable donations on behalf of organizations, families, or individuals. They surrender ownership of anything they put in the fund but retain advisory privileges over how their account is invested, and how it distributes money to charities.

PIFMA provides access to arts-related opportunities and programs encouraging Georgetown County’s youth to reach their full potential.

Focusing on giving back to the youth through arts education and resources is an integral part of our nonprofit’s mission and vision. While the county’s school music and arts programs are excellent, they do not have a budget and are unable to offer a wide range of experiences. Due to geographic limitations and many low-income families, the majority of local students have less access to arts-related activities. PIFMA strives to make up for this lack of funding and opportunities in rural Georgetown County in several ways.

PIFMA provides free educational outreach programs with high-quality musicians where students get to experience live music and interact with professional artists. PIFMA also offers monetary contributions through Arts-Related Assistance Applications for all of the music and art classes. Additionally, PIFMA awards a college scholarship every year to a rising freshman planning to major in the arts.

Your donation would directly benefit PIFMA’s mission of helping our local students thrive!

Very Important Message

The only legitimate places to purchase tickets to PIFMA performances are our website, PawleysMusic.com, our ticketing company, www.etix.com, by phone at 843-626-8911 or in person at the PIFMA Box Office at 14363 Ocean Hwy, Unit 9, Pawleys Island, SC.

Many ticket-sellers you find on the internet are third party brokers, also known as scalpers, seeking to make a profit from your ticket purchase with additional costs added to the original ticket price. Some of these brokers sell fake tickets, which leads to disappointed patrons who are denied entry to a performance after discovering their tickets are invalid.

Please only purchase your tickets from the previously mentioned sources. If you purchase any other way, we cannot guarantee the validity of the tickets or if you will receive the tickets at all.
