“It’s Showtime” is an event for children under the professional direction of Tim McGhee.
From the opening number, A Chorus Line, “I Hope I Get It,” featuring singers and dancers of all ages, to the closing number, Hair Spray, “You Can’t Stop the Beat,” a high energy number featuring the entire cast, the Grand Strand Theatrical Youth Players promise to entertain us all. During the performance, the audience along with the cast learns what it takes to create a show, from auditions to the final production. Excellent young performers provide comedy, music and dancing for your delight and enjoyment.
This performance is presented by the Grand Strand Theatrical Youth Players, young actors from Horry and Georgetown Counties, under the direction of Tim McGhee.
