The Cultural Council of Georgetown County’s Young Treasures Program has been identifying talented, young students who excel in music and visual arts for over 20 years. During this time, more than 130 students have received scholarships, which are based on audition performances or juried art competitions. Scholarships help pay for one year of private study. Winners are asked to perform at various community events during the year, including a recital at the end of the scholarship year.

The Pawleys Island Festival of Music & Art funds an annual scholarship and offers performance opportunities for Cultural Council of Georgetown County’s Young Treasurers Scholars.
